Wapping Project is an exciting venue in a hydraulic power station. After its closure as a pumping station in 1977, the building was converted and reopened as an arts centre and restaurant.
Exhibitions are held in the basement and the main ground floor hall houses the restaurant that serves excellent dinners and ahigh quality Sunday brunch until 12.30. The Eggs Benedict and a spicy Bloody Mary are a must.
If you're looking for a little walk post brunch, stroll through the exhibition, the garden (featuring a bookshop) and roam around the cobble stoned streets of Wapping. There are some excellent pubs in the area if you're looking for a more boozy afternoon - the Prospect of Whitby just opposite and the Captain Kidd Pub further down Wapping High Street
