Three Men in a Boat: Take a traditional Skiff Holiday
A plan by: ChuckRiley

This nineteenth century "activity holiday" is making a comeback. Since Jerome K Jerome wrote his 1889 book "Three Men in a Boat, not forgetting the dog" and more recently the TV Series following the same route, this is a great way to spenda  couple of days exploring the river and the pubs on its banks.

About the Skiffs:

Skiffs are wooden rowing boats about 24 feet long, built for ease of handling and efficient traveling. At night a canvas cover converts the entire craft into a snug tent with room for three people to sleep aboard. The cover can also provide weather protection during the day. You can expect to travel 12-20 miles a day. Handling the boat is quickly mastered, you do not need to be an experienced oarsperson
