Check out London postage museum
A plan by: DavidC

British postal services helped to shape the modern world. The British Postal Museum & Archive (BPMA) works to make this human story of communication, industry, and innovation accessible to everyone.

They care for the visual, written and physical records of over 400 years of postal development. There is a small exhibit of old postage memorabilia, but the main thing here is the postal archives. Great for tracing family roots and regularly featured in Who Do You Think You Are.

One for the stamp enthusiasts this really, it is fairly interesting if you're in the area.

Sometimes they stage some excellent events which you can check on their website
