Have a romantic dinner at the Bleeding Heart restaurant
The combination of the location of this tavern and restaurant located near Hatton Gardens (London's diamond district) and the unlikely romanticism of its name might suggest a certain tragedy of failed proposals or the beauty of a happy life ever after. But you don't need to be soul destroyed or happily married to enjoy this little piece of France in the middle of London. Even though Bleeding Heart is run by a Kiwi the staff are almost exclusively French serving up high quality Anglo-French cuisine with the Chateaubriand steak frequently reported to be a favourite. Fellow diners might indeed include the romantic couple but The Bleeding Heart is also excellent for a business lunch or a birthday dinner. Note that the restaurant might be difficult to find being located on a cobble-stoned side street. If you still feel adventurous after dinner why not try to find the Old Mitre for a post dinner pint?
