Queue and enjoy tasty crepes in Hampstead
A plan by: Arnaud

Despite hosting a large Breton community, London is not really a crepe heaven. In fact, it is quite a struggle to find decent crepes. Your best bet is probably to go to Hampstead on a weekend and queue at the well-named La Creperie de Hampstead. It is well-worth the trip...and the wait!

Why should you queue? Because the queue at Hampstead Crepes has become as famous as the crepes themselves and are an integral part of the experience! It has also been scientifically proven that a correlation exists between how long one queues and how much he enjoys his crepe. However, like all the good things in life, one should obviously not abuse it and aim at arriving quite early (say noon) in order to avoid the rush hour.

And what about the crepes? To be fair, the crepes are neither really authentic nor very refined. But they are tasty, enjoyable and filling: the perfect treat before hitting the Heath! The traditionalists will be satisfied with a "complete" (egg, cheese and ham) while there are plenty of less conventional fillings for the more adventurous ones.
